Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System will be holding a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for a brand-new VA El Dorado Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 1 p.m. The new clinic is located at 1702 North West Avenue, El Dorado, Arkansas 71730.
According to the Press Release, the doors to the newly-constructed and modern clinic were opened on November 30 without a disruption in service. Veteran patients and their families can call 870-875-5900, or fax 870-875-5921.

The new clinic continues with the VA’s highly-successful Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model. Every Veteran receives personalized care that emphasizes prevention and health promotion from a team that consists of a medical provider, registered nurse, licensed practical nurse and a medical support assistant.

In addition to primary care, the clinic offers telehealth, mental health, nutrition and clinical pharmacology services.

The half-hour ceremony will include remarks from El Dorado Mayor Frank Hash and Dr. Margie Scott, CAVHS Medical Center director.

An enrollment and eligibility table will be available for those interested in taking advantage of their health benefit.

Local Veterans, media and interested citizens are encouraged to attend the ceremony.
