
UAHT Reminds High School Seniors – Secure Your Free Year of College Now
The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana is reminding Hempstead County high school seniors that deadlines for the Hempstead Guarantee Scholarship are quickly approaching.
The scholarship gives eligible graduates the opportunity to attend UAHT at no cost for their first year, covering tuition, fees, and book rental expenses not already paid by other financial aid. This is a fantastic opportunity!

What Students Need to Do to Apply for the Hempstead Guarantee Scholarship
Students who plan to take advantage of the scholarship need to make sure they complete four important steps before the deadlines:
- Complete the Arkansas state scholarship application by May 1
- Graduate from a Hempstead County high school
- Submit the FAFSA and all required financial aid documents by May 31
- Enroll in at least 12 credit hours at UAHT for the fall semester by June 30.

Spring Hill
