Here’s a Neat Place to Take the Kids

This past weekend, I dj'd a wedding reception at a really neat place down in Shreveport. A place I will definitely be taking the kids to real soon.

It's called the Sci Port and it's really easy to find. Once you get downtown Shreveport, take the next left past Texas street and go all the way to the river. It will be on your right. It's a two story facility with a domed Imax theater and packed full of really neat exhibits (over 290 of them according to their web site).

We're always looking for new places to take the kids within a short drive of Texarkana and this one is definitely now on the list. Anyone else have other fun locations to take the family on a day trip?
