The Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council (TRAHC) is gearing up for the 18th annual Holiday Arts Market, returning December 5 & 6 at the Regional Arts Center in downtown Texarkana. The free two-day event brings together more than 40 local and regional artists, offering a wide selection of handmade holiday gifts.

More Than 40 Artists Offering Handmade Gifts

Shoppers can browse all three floors of the Arts Center on Thursday, December 5, from 10 AM to 5 PM, and Friday, December 6, from 10 AM to 4 PM. This year’s market features a mix of longtime returning artists and new creators, giving visitors an opportunity to explore pottery, paintings, jewelry, soaps, decor, and other handcrafted items.

Event Highlights Creativity and Texarkana-area Local Talent

Organizers say the annual tradition is an important way to support local artists and celebrate the creativity found throughout the region. Jeanne Harrel, one of the event organizers, said the market offers shoppers access to unique, often one-of-a-kind pieces they won’t find anywhere else.

Live Music and Food Add to the Experience

Live music from local performers will add to the festive atmosphere during both days of the market. Julie’s Deli will also have its food truck on site in the city parking lot behind the building, and visitors are encouraged to stop by TRAHC’s For Arts Sake gift shop for additional gift options.
