So you like tattoos - it seems that more people today are getting inked up in some special way. But what if you could tattoo something else other than your body?

This is where Phil Hansen comes in, that's because he is known as a banana tattoo artist. He doesn't use paint brushes or canvases to show off  his artistic abilities.

Hansen uses push pins to make tiny punctures in the banana which later creates a brown tinted image as the fruit starts to go bad. He calls the technique "pointillism" and has even written a book about this unique art form.

Some of Hansen's creations include a recreation of Vincent Van Gogh, Andro Botticelli and others - all on the skin of a banana peel.

So don't throw away those rotten bananas. They could be worth something.
