
Arkansas Troopers Seize Over 300 Pounds of Drugs in I-40 Stop
Arkansas State Police (ASP) are reporting a significant drug seizure following a Friday traffic stop on Interstate 40 in central Arkansas.
According to ASP, the incident occurred on November 13, 2025, at approximately 12:45 PM, when State Troopers pulled over a black Toyota Tundra near the Arkansas I-40 175-mile marker for a suspected traffic violation. During the stop, Troopers conducted a search of the vehicle and reported finding a large quantity of illegal substances.
Out-of-State Driver Arrested - Case Forwarded to Prosecutors
Investigators say the search led to the discovery of 258 pounds of illegal marijuana and 60 pounds of THC products, all of which were seized.

The driver was 49-year-old Micah Jason Hogue of Reno, Nevada. Hogue was taken into custody at the scene. He was transported to the Lonoke County Detention Center, where he was booked on felony charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, according to ASP.

Officials noted that the case will be reviewed by prosecutors. As with all criminal cases, the charges are only allegations at this stage, and Hogue is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
