Inviting Texarkana to ‘Share the Warmth’ This Holiday Season
The holiday season is upon us and we want to make sure that the less fortunate in our area are taken care of during those long cold winter months ahead.
Share The Warmth
That's why Townsquare Media radio stations Kicker 102-5, Eagle 106-3, Power 959, and Majic 933 have teamed up with the Professional Women’s Alliance of Texarkana for something called "Let's Share the Warmth."
We're encouraging all our listeners to round up warm clothing such as jackets, coats, scarves, gloves, socks, and knit hats, along with blankets or any other type of warm outerwear, and drop them off at Southern Caregivers located at 4001 Jefferson Avenue.
All items donated must be in good or new condition as items will distributed to the We Are Washington Coat Drive, Randy Sam's Outreach Shelter, Mission Texarkana, and the Salvation Army Center of Hope.
In addition, from now until December 15, Premier High School located at 3448 Summerhill Road is also taking donations for blankets, coats, and non-perishable food items
Let's share the warmth and spread the joy of the holiday season by giving folks in need in our local community what they need to stay warm this winter. Doing this good deed will certainly warm your heart and can make a difference in their lives.
From all of us at Townsquare Media Texarkana blessings for the Merriest Christmas and a Happy New Year!
