Is This The Worst Value Family Attaction in Texas?

There are so many great attractions all across the state of Texas. In fact, when you are on a road trip with family or friends, it's always fun to stop at an attraction that is "on the way" or close to your destination. Unfortunately, some attractions might be too expensive for a family to visit.

The website couponbirds.com made a list of the worst family-value attractions in every state. They looked at 35,000 Trip Advisor reviews of attractions and museums that were listed as 'expensive', separated them into states, and came up with this list.

Of course, most of these places are a 'must-see,' so even if they are expensive, our goal is still to get our kids there.

Before we look at the most expensive in Texas, what attractions make the top of the list for the entire country?

2. Univeral Studios - Florida

3. Walt Disney World - Florida

4. Discovery Cove - Florida

5. Universal Studios Hollywood - California

Now for Texas. Can you guess what it is?

We can easily name a few that are pretty expensive, like Six Flags in Arlington and Sea World in San Antonio but if you guessed those...you would be wrong.

The Space Center in Houston

Okay, so it might be 'expensive' to bring the whole family. But, this place is on my bucket list. To see the history of NASA, space artifacts that have been brought back and tour Mission Control? Wow.

Check out the entire list of the Worst Value Family Attractions by State, but also notice that 'by State" it looks like 4 states weren't included including Arkansas. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not.
