Good Friday, Here are some stories making headlines today:

Severe Storms and tornadoes tore thru portions of SE Oklahoma and Central Arkansas last night and overnight which resulted in at least 6 deaths. Two people died from damaged sustained in their home in the Oklahoma town of Tushka. A 6 year old Arkansas boy died when a huge tree fell on his central Arkansas home. The victims parents and 2 year old sibling had to be rescued from the crushed home. Meanwhile two people died in Garland County when a tree fell on their home and a man was killed in Pulaski County when a tree fell on his recreational vehicle.
The Severe Storms moved out of the area prior to dawn this morning.

Consumers paid more for food, gasoline, and rent last month, but outside those categories inflation remained on the tame side. The Labor Department says the Consumer Price Index rose .5% in March that matched February's increase, the largest since the recession officially ended back in June 2009. In the past 12 months , core prices have risen 1.2%
