The Texarkana Texas City Council holds a special called meeting tonight at 6 p.m. at  City Hall.  An open meeting concerning a discussion on Regional Water Needs. The council will also have a closed executive session as well. The public is invited to the open portion of tonights meeting.

OSHA,  The Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration has fined Tyson Foods, Inc. $70,000 in the wake of a fatal collapse at the company's Nashville Arkansas feed mill.

OSHA  cited Tyson saying a collapsed gair silo was " struturally unsound". The silo collapsed prior to dawn last December 9th, killing a 48 year old employee from Lockesburg, Arkansas.  Tyson has until June 22nd to pay the fine or contest the findings.

In Sports:

The Dallas Mavericks are the 2011 NBA Champions. The Mavericks won their first ever world title with a 105-95 win in Miami last night.  Dallas beat the Heat 4-2, with Series MVP Dirk Nowitzki scoring 21 points most of those in the deciding fourth period.

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is offering to pay for the Victory Parade through Downtown Dallas.
