Good Thursday, Here are some stories making headlines today:

The National Weather Service has placed the Texarkana area under a Moderate Severe Weather Risk for later this evening. That means there is an enhanced probability for severe weather including High Winds, Large Hail,  and possible tornadoes in the moderate risk area.

The Moderate Risk area includes Bowie and Miller Counties and points north. To the south there is a slight risk for severe weather this evening. Conditions should improve by midnight as a more stable airmass moves into the area. Friday looks to be Breezy and cooler.

Arkansas Lawmakers have recessed this years legistlative session after casting  votes on a ceremonial redistricting plan that was previously approved. The House approved a Senate amendment to the plan 61-19. The state senate had earlier passed the plan on a 23-11 vote. Governor Mike Beebe has said that he will sign the bill into law. Lawmakers are to return to the capital April 27th to formally adjourn.
