Good THursday,  Here are some stories making headlines today:

The registration for the Fall 2011 Semester at Texarkana College is underway. Students are encouraged to apply and enroll early to avoid missing classes they need or want.

Students can also register on-line at (texarkanacollege.edu). The College is also open for summer hours Monday-Thursday 7:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

An appeals court has upheld a Texas Law barring medical professionals from contacting accident victims within 30 days of an accident. The federal appeals court overturned a judges ruling yesterday that struck down the law as unconsitutional. The law was approved in 2009 to protect victims from solicitations by so-called "ambulance chasers."

In Sports :

The Pleasant Grove Boys Basseball team fell to Waco Robinson in the Class 3A State Semi-Final game in Austin by a  score of 5-1. Congratulations to the defending state champion Hawks on making it to the state tournament for the fourth year in a row.

Game # 5 of the NBA Finals set for tonight in Dallas. The Mavericks and the Miami Heat are tied at two games a piece heading into action this evening.  Games 6 and if necessary 7 will be played in Miami.
