Mark your calendars for Friday, August 9, at the Four States Fairgrounds for the "Great Texarkana Duck Fest" featuring Duck Dynasty's Jase Robertson.

The Great Texarkana Duck Fest will be benefitting CHRISTUS St. Michael. Jase Roberston, a Louisiana native and COO of Duck Commander became very popular in the long-running TV reality series "Duck Dynasty that aired on A&E for several years. One of three brothers. Robertosn brings wisdom, wit, stories, humor, and heartfelt memories into all his speaking engagements, including duckinese, something he coined up.  In this event, participants can compete in a duck call competition with Jase beginning at 7PM. Grand prize winner of the contest receives a Duck Fest basket full of goodies including a Duck Dynasty duck call.

Duck Fest wraps up with a concert from the Dusty Rose Band from 8-10PM.

General admission tickets are $40, with children 12 and under free. A limited number of of VIP tickets are $100 each which includes general admission as well as the Duck Call Competition at $100 each. Findley's Barnyard will be open for the kids and refreshments will be available for purchase.
