Texarkana: Tuesday Car Fire On Jefferson Ave Caught On Camera
You ever have a bad hair day, how about a bad car day? That's apparently what you could call it when a man's car went up in flames today, Tuesday, April 28, 2026, on Jefferson Ave. in Texarkana, Arkansas, when the vehicle he was driving went up in flames.
Tiffany, one of our Townsquare Texarkana Marketing Representatives, said she was driving on Jefferson Ave. when she witnessed the vehicle driving by with sparks flying out from underneath.
The driver suddenly veered off the roadway into what appears to be a parking lot next to Domino Credit Union, when smoke started belching out from under the vehicle, then the flames came, as you can see in the images.
Tiffany said the man made it out of the vehicle safely, and Police and Fire crews showed up pretty quickly to get the situation under control.

Our sympathies go out to this poor guy; the last thing anyone wants is for their home, business, or automobile to show up on the evening news for any reason. We hope his insurance is paid up... because we're pretty sure this incident ain't gonna buff out.
