Kelsea Ballerini made her debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday (Sept. 27), performing "Unapologetically," the title track off her forthcoming new album.

Dressed in a pink and white romper, Ballerini stepped onto a stage overflowing with balloons to sing about being deeply in love. The engaged-to-marry singer was all smiles throughout the delivery, likely because she was thinking about her fiance.

"I could care less if I'm being careless / Might wreck me to be reckless / But I'd rather fall apart than love half-hearted," she sings. "Well maybe it's true that you know when you know / And then again maybe you don't / But when you find a diamond / You can't keep it from shining."

It was the country singer's first time on the show, so she had to give DeGeneres a big hug after finishing her song, which the host remarked was "fantastic."

Ballerini wrote “Unapologetically” with Forest Glen Whitehead and Hillary Lindsey, and it's the centerpiece and title track for her new album. The song is about falling for her fiancé, Morgan Evans, shortly after she first met him. In a new interview with People, Ballerini notes that she is almost finished with wedding planning, and that “everything has been easy.”

“We’re both very busy, but I think we’re pretty much done,” the singer explains. “I have the dress. We have the place. We have the plane ticket. We’re ready to go.”

Ballerini's visit to Los Angeles is just one of many stops along her whirlwind year. The singer also shared some behind-the-scenes moments from her dressing room before she took the stage. "All the love today on @theellenshow! #unapologetically," she captions a set of photos of her outside the studio and seated in a director's chair backstage in her dressing room.

Ballerini's Unapologetically album is out on Nov. 3.
