Recently, I spoke with lead vocalist and fiddle extraordinaire Rico Gonzalez in a radio interview on Tuesday about their cover of the CDB's "The Devil Went Down To Georgia."

Hear the complete interview below.

Last year Kin Faux headlined their first show at the legendary Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth and nearly sold it out. They opened for Luke Bryan in Tennessee this past summer and have just been added to a music cruise with Trace Adkins in 2025.

Their current single "My Kind of Weathered" hit No. 1, making it a string of FIVE No.1 hit singles. The band also trails a slew of Texas Country Music Association awards including the top prize of "Entertainer of the Year in 2023."

With most of the band having grown up in the shadows of the crumbling auto plants of Michigan, the band now calls Texas their home. Their unique musical style and authenticity are winning over fans from all walks of life and around the world.

Kin Faux pronounced (Kin-Fo) is one of the "Must-See Bands in Texas" in 2025. Get your tickets now at Whiskey River Country or online at WhiskeyRiverCountry.com.
