Krewe of Hebe Upriver Mardi Gras Celebration Feb. 9-11 in Jefferson, Texas
You don't have to travel to Louisiana to enjoy a great Mardi Gras celebration. You don't want to miss the Krewe of Hebe Upriver Mardi Gras on Feb. 9-11, 2018 in Jefferson, Texas.
This festival has fast become one of the best Mardi Gras celebrations to attend in Northeast Texas. Krewe of Hebe actually began in 1989 as a social function to help promote businesses, restaurants, shopping, and bed & breakfasts in the town. Mardi Gras festivities this year will include lots of live music, great food, parades and more.
Mardi Gras Upriver kicks off Friday, Feb. 9, with a 80s, old school, funk, rock and pop music from What The Funk a band from Northwest Louisiana at 7PM. And don't miss the wild and crazy Doo Dah Parade at 7PM, where everyone is encouraged to dress up in their craziest costume.
On Saturday, Feb. 10, there will be a motorcycle parade at 1:45PM followed by the Grand Parade at 2PM. Also starting at 11AM Jay-B and the Zydeco Posse from Dallas will keep you hoppin' and dancin' with their zydeco music on the main stage.
