
Celebrate Mardi Gras With the Animals at the Little Rock Zoo
Are you ready for a memorable experience at the Little Rock Zoo? Join the animals for a Mardi Gras celebration on Saturday, March 1 at 10:30 AM.
Mardi Gras Celebration at the Zoo
Join a fun-filled day with a Mardi Gras parade at the bottom of the Great Apes exhibit. Chairwoman of the Little Rock Zoo Board, Sharmin Moody will be the Grand Marshal along with the zoo staff who will be leading the way. There will be Mardi Gras-themed decorations and festively decorated golf carts that will get guests around the zoo.
See Amos the resident alligator, visit the lively King Snake in the Reptile House, or visit the zoo's newest member at Penguin Pointe. Celebrate Mardi Gras with live music and a special Mardi Gras menu at Cafe Africa from March 1-4.
There is no additional charge for Mardi Gras festivities, all are included with zoo admission except for Cafe Africa. Join the celebration by decorating strollers or pull wagons, no beads, balloons, or plastic allowed.

Zoo Attractions
While you're at the zoo ride the Arkansas Diamond Express Train or the historic Over-the-Jumps- Carousel now open again.
