Red, White, and Zoo - Memorial Weekend

Join the zookeepers and the animals for this family-friendly celebration in a salute to our veterans and active military members. The Little Rock Zoo is offering a special admission price of just $6 to all military personnel and their families. It's the zoo's way of saying, "Thank you for the sacrifices and service to our country."

Active military members and veterans, show your proper, valid military ID and get in for only $6.

The Animals - Lions, Tigers, and Bears Oh My!

Enjoy the animals, activities, and the chance to show appreciation to those who serve our country. Children will love the upgraded bear habitat with new bear perches, fresh new logs for climbing, and lounging. The zoo is still celebrating the arrival of one of the world’s smallest antelope species, baby Kirk's dik dik. In case you were wondering, a dik-dik is a small African antelope named for the distinctive “dik-dik” sound they make when alarmed. Visit the huge penguin display, or hang out with the gorillas and monkeys in their natural habitat. While you're there, enjoy delicious food, drinks, and treats from Cafe Africa.

Join the Memorial Day weekend celebration "Red, White, and Zoo," May 24-26, from 9 AM to 4 PM. Visit the Little Rock Zoo website or Facebook page for more information and events.
