Fall is underway and that means the holiday season is right around the corner. That also means a bevy of new movies hitting the theaters this weekend. One of those movies includes the reboot of the classic war saga "Midway" just in time for Veterans Day.
Ross & Shoalmire is thanking Veterans on Veterans Day Nov. 11, by offering a free movie pass to a Vet and their guest to see the new WWII- based film, Midway showing at Cinemark Movies. There will be limited seating for this movie, so call the Ross & Shoalmire office at 903-223-5653 to make your reservation as soon as possible.
About the movie:
Midway (PG-13)
As history notes, The Battle of Midway took place in June of 1942, six months after the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor and two months after the United States retaliated with an air raid on Tokyo. To this day, it's still regarded as one of the most decisive blows in the history of our navy.
In this updated version Woody Harrelson is the Pacific Fleet commander Admiral Nimitz, Ed Skrein plays the Navy squadron commander Dick Best, Mandy Moore plays his wife. Aaron Eckhart is the Air Force General Jimmy Doolittle, who was the leader of the Tokyo Raid.
Rest if the cast includes Dennis Quaid, Luke Evans, Patrick Wilson, Nick Jonas, Darren Criss, and Alexander Ludwig.
