Texarkana Rotary Invites You to Show Your Patriotism and Help Cha

As a patriotic American, I enjoy flying the flag high and proud at my house, but I have an issue, I leave for work so early in the morning half the time I forget to put it out on those special days. Drives me nuts. Well, I found a solution for myself and for those like me, Texarkana Rotary Clubs will do it for you so you don't forget.

If you're new to the area or you have just been curious about where all the flags come from lining the streets of Texarkana on the patriotic holidays, there is your answer, Texarkana Rotary Clubs. They use this service as a fundraising tool to help the charities they support throughout each year.

Is It Expensive?

No, it does cost a little money to have them put a flag or two or three in front of your home or business, but not that much and it's so convenient. When you get busy and forget to put our flag out, your Texarkana Rotary Clubs do not. They distribute over 4800 US flags for seven flag-waiving holidays per year. It not only raises money for Rotarian projects every year but they also share that money with many groups around the city that help them including Scout Troops, church youth groups, and many others that help put the flags out and pick them back up. So, those groups get a cut of the proceeds as well.

Here's the breakdown:

1-2 flags = $55 each
3-4 flags = $46 each
5-9 flags = $44 each
10-19 flags = $40 each
20 or more flags = $35 each

That will get you an American Flag(s) displayed at your business or house for seven appropriate holidays each year including:

4th of July
Flag Day
Memorial Day
Veterans Day
MLK Day
Presidents Day
Patriots Day

2022 Update:

When Rotary delivers your flag(s) for Memorial Day on May 30, they will stay up for two weeks until just after Flag Day on June 14. It's quite a monumental task to put up and take down this many flags for each holiday so they decided to combine these two since they are so close together.
