Deadly Home Fire Near Texarkana (Update)

The Texas Rangers are on scene invesigating a deadly predawn house fire in Bowie County Texas which claimed three lives today.

Bowie County Sheriff James Prince says a 34 year old mother and her 11 and 8 year old children died in the tragic blaze which completely destroyed  the  home in the 1200 block of FM 991 just west of Texarkana, Texas.  Sheriff Prince says the grandparents of the children received a call from inside the home and they called 911, rescuers were able to pull the 11 year old from the home but she later died as did the other two family members inside the residence. The  names are being withheld pending all notifications to next of kin.
