💰Arkansas Man Wins Big

💰$50,000 Scratch off Ticket

💰Arkansas Scholarship Lottery

Last week while most of Arkansas was covered in snow, an Arkansas man celebrated his biggest lottery win ever.

Jacob Wood, a resident of Batesville, won $50,000 by playing $50,000 Frenzy, a recently launched $20 scratch-off game. He claimed his prize on Tuesday, January 14 at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center in Little Rock.

Jacob bought his lucky ticket on Wednesday, January 8 during a visit to Hawgs Exxon at 1135 N. St. Louis in Batesville. Jacob said a customer ahead of him bought four $10 tickets, so Jacob decided to take a chance on the $50,000 Frenzy game.

He went to the parking lot and started scratching off his ticket. No doubt, he was shocked and pleasantly surprised to see he won the game’s $50,000 top prize.

Jacob told Arkansas Scholarship Lotter officials,

I just kept looking at it. My first thought was, ‘This isn’t real.’

Jacob was still in shock when he decided to call his father, who was also just as shocked. Both were still doubtful about the winning numbers so Jacob sent his dad a photo of the winning ticket...and sure enough, it was a winner. A $50,000 winning ticket!

Jacob plans to use his winnings to pay off his house. He also says he will keep playing lottery games in the hopes that he might win an even bigger prize.

Did you know 82 top prizes of $50,000 remain on the $50,000 Frenzy instant ticket?
