Mario’s Weekend Movie Roundup for July 26

The Lion King was King of the box office last weekend and I don't see much changing this weekend either. However, Quentin Taratino movies have a pretty good fan base and looks to be the only release this weekend.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (R)

This is the 9th movie from the Quentin Taratino franchise and this one stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a Western star who's career is fast fading as Hollywood is changing in 1969. Brad Pitt plays his best friend and stunt double, who gets mixed up in the Manson murders. Margot Robbie plays actress Sharon Tate who becomes Manson's victim. Manson Family members are played by Dakota Fanning and Margaret Qualley, Andi MacDowell's daughter. The daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman Maya Hawke from "Stranger Things" plays a less committed Manson family member.

Lots of cameo appearances throughout this movie including Rumer Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Harley Quinn Smith, daughter of Kevin Smith. This was also the final movie for Luke Perry who died back in March. Other cast members include Al Pacino, Kurt Russel, Lena Dunham, and Timothy Olyphant.
