Are you ready for some fun in the sun?  Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start to summer, and Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is the place to go for a massive fireworks display.

Fireworks Over Lake Hamilton

The annual Hot Springs Memorial Day fireworks display is a tribute to honor our veterans and fallen heroes. The fireworks display is scheduled for Sunday, May 25, at dusk on the east side of Highway 7 at the first Highway 7 bridge across from the Double Tree Inn hotel. This FREE public display can be seen by land or by boat on the lake. If you plan on watching from your boat on the water, please stay a safe distance away from where the fireworks will be fired from barges in the middle of Lake Hamilton. When I lived in Hot Springs, this was one of my favorite ways to watch on the lake because the reflection of the fireworks over the water is mesmerizing.

Listen and Watch!

Whether you are watching from your car or boat, make sure you tune to US 97 (97.5) as the display will be synced with patriotic and country music from the radio station.

In case of rain, the fireworks will be rescheduled to Memorial Day, May 26. Visit Hot Springs encourages visitors to enjoy three FREE fireworks displays every summer. The next two fireworks shows will be on Friday, July 4, and Labor Day, September 1, 2025.

Wear your red, white, and blue, and let's honor our veterans on Memorial weekend in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Some Alligators In Arkansas You Can Touch - Most You Can't

If you're looking for a great day trip for the whole family may I recommend a fun outing at the Alligator Farm & Petting Zoo in Hot Springs, Arkansas? My wife has been visiting this fun attraction since she was a little girl, we manage to get around to seeing it every couple of years or so and for the most part, it stays pretty much the same, but it's always fun to pet a baby gater.
