National Night Out for Our Area is This Evening

It's time to get together with you neighbors for a cook out and get together. It's National Night Out for the Texarkana area.

Authorities urge you to lock your door, turn on your porch lights and join with neighbors for food and fellowship. A good way to get better acquainted and to band together to make your neighborhood a safer and more secure place to live.

Police and city officials will be going to those block parties that actually registered with them, but you do not have to register to have a get together.
