Brrr, Arkansas has had some super cold temperatures and we still have February to go. With these freezing cold temperatures there are some things that we need to make sure we do not leave in our vehicles.

Freezing temperatures are not good for a lot of things. As we all know during the winter when we get hard freeze warnings we try our best to take care of the Four Ps. You know people, pets, plants and pipes.

But what about the things you may always keep in your vehicle and didn't realize you could ruin the item or worse yet put you and your loved ones in danger? USAToday came up with a list of of things you shouldn't keep in your car when it's freezing outside.

4 Things You Should Have in Your Car During Freezing Temperatures

Before we look at things you should not leave in your car during freezing weather, let's look at a few things you should keep in your car during these super cold months, especially if there is ice or snow on the roads.

Things You Should Have in Your Vehicle When it's Below Freezing:

1. Blanket - just incase you get stuck in your car, you can stay warm.

2. Water - bottled water is good to have in case once again you get stranded in cold or icy weather

3. A few snacks - If you are stranded in freezing weather. You never know how long you might be stranded.

4. Medications - if there are any medications that you must have, especially every few hours it would be a good idea to bring them with you.
