Avoid These Road Closures In October

Road closures seem to be a way of life in Texarkana. Here is a list of roads that will be closed this month.

• From Sept. 30 - Nov. 30, Phillips Lane will be closed due to bridge demolition and replacement.
• Magee Drive will be closed, except for through traffic, from Sept. 30 - Oct. 30. Box culvert replacement is being performed in this area.
• Street stabilization improvement will be completed between Sept. 30 - Oct. 15 on Garland Ave. This street will be open for through traffic only for two weeks.

To reduce stress and timing issues, you might want to look for alternate routes if you live or work close to those areas.
