
One Arrest Made in Texarkana Arkansas Shooting of 19 Year-Old
There has been one arrest made so far in the shooting of a 19-year-old earlier this week in Texarkana, Arkansas.
The shooting took place on Wednesday, October 5 on Bann Street.
When officers arrived at the house on the 3500 block of Bann Street they found 19-year-old male bleeding from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition.
Detectives questioned five witnesses and now they have made an arrest.
Zion Fricks, a 23-year-old from Ashdown, Arkansas was arrested as the only suspect in the incident.
TAPD stated on their Facebook page;
Fricks has been arrested and is charged with a warrant that was issued yesterday before this event occurred for Theft by Receiving of a Firearm, and two charges related to this investigation, Battery 2nd degree and Criminal Use of a Prohibited Weapon.
Police stated that this is still an ongoing investigation and that more arrests might be made.
