PG vs Gilmer, Daingerfield vs Pewitt - High School Football Playo

Big Friday night of high school playoff football action in East Texas this week as four teams, all from our local area will be battling it out for their Regional Championships in quarterfinal action.

Congratulations again to Texarkana's own Pleasant Grove Hawks as they move onward and upward, as well as the Gilmer Buckeyes, the Daingerfield Tigers and Paul Pewitt Brahmas! All are moving up to play for their respective Regional Championships in their quarterfinal games this week. If I'm reading the chart right, all four of these teams are just two wins from a shot at the State Title. After Friday night's games, two will move on and two will be done.

Pleasant Grove Hawks (12-1) vs Gilmer Buckeyes (10-3), Friday night, 12/6 in Longview at Lobo Stadium at 7 PM.

Daingerfield Tigers (11-2) vs Paul Pewitt Brahmas (12-1) Friday night, 12/6 in Mount Pleasant at 7:30 PM.
