Do you have a great idea for a product, technology to a service idea that you think is great? Why don't you put it to the test and see if you can make it happen? It's Pitch it Texarkana but the deadline to submit your idea is coming soon.

Pitch it Texarkana is an entrepreneurial competition where you can 'pitch' your idea to a panel of judges, sound familiar? That's right think Shark Tank. You need to submit your idea now because the deadline is Wednesday, March 16.

It all takes place on Thursday, March 31 at Crossties where contestants will pitch their business or startup idea to a panel of judges. There will be a couple of rounds where some will make the finals cut and a chance to win first place $5,000, 2nd Place is $2,500 and 3rd place will win $1,000

Contestants must be 18 years and older. Information for the event, including rules and an online application, can be found at pitchittexarkana.com. A $15 application fee applies.

If you just want to come and watch the process you can! General admission tickets will be available for $10 where you can watch the final round of pitches on March 31 at Crossties Event Venue on Broad Street in downtown Texarkana.

Doors open to the public at 5 PM. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
