Road Crews to Replace Roadside and Overhead Signs, Expect Delays

The Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) will have crews replacing roadside and overhead signs on I-369/Loop 151 in Texarkana over the next three weeks.

This will require some lane closures and ramp closures at various locations at various times according to the progress of work. Lane and ramp closures should be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until work is completed each day on weekdays.

Also, keep in mind that new sidewalks are being installed between Meadow Lane and Kennedy Lane and that bridges are being replaced at the Sulphur River in Bowie County. Be advised that some of these repairs could be subject to change due to weather conditions this week. Rain is in the forecast for most of the workweek.

When traveling throughout these areas be advised of construction workers and slow down in the warned areas.
