Experience Christmas From the Air
Well, he may not be Old St. Nick but David Aiken from Red River Wrecker Service is spreading good cheer for the holiday season by offering helicopter rides to folks who want to see Christmas lights from a different viewing angle.
According to KSLA, Weldon Garrison a local pilot will take guests for a helicopter ride that will last approximately 15 minutes. The views are spectacular because you get a whole different perspective of seeing Christmas lights from the air. Who knows you just might see Santa when you're up there!
I have to admit I've done this before not in Texarkana but it was incredibly fun and something you'll always remember for a lifetime.
How Much Does it Cost?
The cost to ride is $150 per person and each flight takes off from a restaurant parking lot beside the Texarkana Arkansas Convention Center.
While you're waiting on your flight see Optimus Prime the wrecker truck from the original "Transformers," movie on display. Make sure to get a photo standing next to this infamous truck.
Helicopter rides are scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. each night until December 21.
