The Sevier County Museum in De Queen has been busy constructing a garden to honor the county's veterans at the museum complex. Here are some pictures of the garden I took this past weekend!

The garden isn't completed yet, but I'm very proud of the way it's turned out. At night, the lights shine off the dog tags and it's a beautiful sight. In the coming months, more benches will be added and there's talk of painting a mural on the walls surrounding the garden. Next time you're in De Queen, stop by the museum and see it!

If you know of a veteran with ties to Sevier County and would like to hang a dog tag in their honor, please visit the Sevier County Museum website for details.
