Sign up Now for Starz Youth Talent Show at Four States Fair

The Starz Youth Talent Show is Monday, April 5, at the 76th Annual Four States Fair and Rodeo. And we are currently looking for talented people to participate in the competition.

If you know anyone between the ages of 9 and 20 years-old who has a talent, sign up today because the first place winners in each age category at the finals will win a recording session from Smart Studios to record their own Demo CD with cover design. Prizes will also be awarded for 2nd and 3rd place winners in each category.  All musical genres accepted. If you sing or play an instrument we want to hear from you. There will be four age categories: 9-11, 12-14, and 15-17 years of age.

The Starz Youth Talent Show will be held at the Outdoor Stage during the Four States Fair and Rodeo. Preliminaries are scheduled for Monday, April 5, from 6-8 pm with the finalists competing on Wednesday, April 7, starting at 7:30 pm to determine who the winners are.

General Contest Rules

Each contestant can compete only once and will have a time limit of three minutes for their performance as well as two minutes for set-up time and sound check. Contestants are required to bring their own music, instrument, or props. Time will not be charged to your performance if the technicians request extra time. Townsquare Media and the Four States Fairgrounds will provide a complete sound system with technicians.

Contestants will be judged on:

• Stage Presence
• Artistic Performance
• Audience Response
• Musical/talent Content

Note: Lyrics and presentation must be acceptable in a family environment.
