Well, who doesn't love a Hot Air Balloon Glow and food trucks? Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 15 for a fun day of food and a glowing night of hot air balloon beauty.

If you have never been to a hot air balloon glow then you are in for a big treat. In the evening the balloons are tethered to the ground but the balloons are lit up. This way you can get up close to these colorful balloons while they glow and light up the area.

The great thing is, you'll get to see them right here in Texarkana. Balloon glows have been super popular and we normally have to go to Dallas or Shreveport to see one.

Food Trucks and Arts and Crafts Start The Day

It all gets started with great food trucks with delicious food for purchase at 11 AM Saturday, October 15 at Bobby Ferguson Park at 3400 UofA Way in Texarkana Arkansas by the Four States Fair Grounds. There will also be Arts and Crafts vendors there too.

Then when it starts getting dark get ready to see the hot air balloon light up the evening. The festival will go on until 8 PM with tethered rides in the balloons for a $20 fee.

With the month of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, there will be a balloon release honoring survivors, current fighters, and those who lost their fight to breast cancer.
