Texarkana Arkansas Police along with the Arkansas Street Department cleaned up some homeless encampments this week helping relocate several of the folks living there and getting them assistance, but it all came with a warning to not return to these areas.

Beans to Bandaids, a Texarkana non-profit organization has run out of room at their original location and were lucky enough to purchase this new building on Pine St. When complete it will house Grace Free Clinic, a food pantry, and autism support group. There's a lot of work to do beforehand though, starting with lot cleanup.

The 3rd Annual Texas A&M - Texarkana Big Event 'Eagle Pride City Wide' is coming up on Saturday, April 13, 2019.

Each fall, Arkansas volunteers and organizers improve their communities by participating in the Great Arkansas Cleanup. Keep Arkansas Beautiful is encouraging Arkansans to organize their own community cleanup or participate in a cleanup of their choice.
