The 3rd Annual Texas A&M - Texarkana Big Event 'Eagle Pride City Wide' is coming up on Saturday, April 13, 2019.

Thanks to Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas this event began in 1982, The community wide event went over so well that other universities across the country including Texas A&M Texarkana have adopted this event that has seen some 200 volunteers put in 1,000 service hours to make a difference in their communities.

Eagle Pride City Wide (EPCW) is one big day, one big event dedicated to giving back to our community who supports our University. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families team up to clean streets, rebuild parks, rake yards, walk dogs, read to children, visit nursing homes, even do some touch up painting where needed just to name a few.

This event normally kicks off with a huge gathering of volunteers with a pep rally atmosphere at the campus with the Mayor of Texarkana, Texas giving a short speech. Then everyone leaves to go to their scheduled assignments for the big day event.
