On Saturday, September 1, the Old Washington Farmer’s Market and Historic Washington State Park in cooperation with the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce will host an official watermelon weigh-off site for the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth in Washington, Arkansas.

Historic Washington State Park announces the annual summer concert series “Music in the Park” with the theme “Hempstead County Melodies.” A free concert will be held in June, July, and August and is open to the public.
