TASD to Break Ground on State-of-the-Art Multi-Purpose Building

The Texarkana, Arkansas, School District is getting a new addition, a new multi-purpose building, one of several new bond projects, which raised 6 million dollars.

Fairview Academy of Humanities and Innovation Multi-Purpose Building

TASD is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony for the Fairview Academy of Humanities and Innovation multi-purpose building on Tuesday, February 17, at 1 PM at 820 E. 17th Street.

This new expansion campus project will allow the district to remove several outdated portable buildings on the Fairview campus since 1994. The new facility will be a more modern, permanent space that enhances safety and security while improving how students transition throughout the campus.

Ongoing Commitment and Effort to Upgrade Aging Facilities in the School District

District leaders say the project reflects an ongoing commitment to upgrading facilities and creating environments that better support teaching and learning.

District administrators, board members, campus leaders, students, and community partners are expected to attend the groundbreaking ceremony. The public is invited to attend this very special event.
