Back-to-school season is here and it can put a dent in a parent's wallet. That's why it's great to know that soon you can save a little cash with the Tax Free Weekend in Texas.

Tax-Free Weekend in Texas starts on Friday, August 8, and runs through Sunday, August 10, at midnight.

In Texas, this is your chance to save with no tax, but remember that means no tax at all on certain items, not everything, and only on those certain items that are also under $100.

So think of things your kids need, like shoes, clothes and school supplies. But remember, there are exceptions.
