You can help them celebrate their birthday this Saturday, January 18 from 1 PM to 6 PM at their Birthday Bash and Open House. Stop in and take a tour of the place and see their new sign.
You can also meet some of their precious fur babies looking for their forever home.
If you have never been to the Texarkana Animal League's facility it is cool! It's a house with all the cats on one side and the dogs on the other. They also have pets at PetSmart.

Pet Adoption Story at Texarkana Animal League
I can not say enough wonderful things about TAL! This is where I found my sweet cat Izzy. She was only a few weeks old when someone found her trying to walk across a blacktop road in July. I just can't even imagine my sweet Isabel going through that. Luckily an angel found her and brought her to TAL where they found a foster for her. By the way, whoever fostered her did such a wonderful job of nurturing her with not only food but loads of love too.
When she was a few months old they put her photo on their Facebook page and a little video. Yep, as soon as I saw her...I knew I had to meet that baby.
I set up an appointment as soon as I could to meet her and well...the rest is history. Seven years later my husband and I still adore our sweet Izzy.
