Volunteers will hand out 1,000 bare-root seedlings. To help keep this process running as fast and smoothly as possible, residents are asked to remain in their vehicles while volunteers bring the trees directly to them. How easy is that?

All the bare-root tree seedlings are native to Texarkana’s climate and were hand-selected by a certified arborist. Species available will include Cherrybark Oak, Baldcypress, Nuttall Oak, Pecan, and Shumard Oak. Planting and care information packets will also be provided to help ensure each tree gets off to a great start.

For updates, be sure to check the event page on Facebook.
