Texarkana Road Closure For Reconstruction Starting Friday September 20

Texarkana is growing and with the growth, there are growing pains. We all need to remember these little inconveniences are just temporary and the final results will be worth it. 

The city of Texarkana Texas wants to inform everyone that they will be performing a street reconstruction on Airline Drive off of Richmond Road starting on Friday, September 20.

Where is the Reconstruction on Airline Drive in Texarkana Texas?

According to the City of Texarkana, Texas Facebook page, this reconstruction will be from Prestige Lane to the southernmost concrete of Airline Drive starting Friday, September 20th. This work is expected to be completed by Monday, September 30.

You can expect for some temporary road closures during this time and proper traffic control will be installed.

For Residents Living in This Area

If you live in this area, residents are asked to please use the alternate neighborhood exits like Lionel Avenue and Brookhollow Drive when necessary.

Remember that with any road work or road closures, it is important to give yourself plenty of extra time to get to your destination.
