Texarkana College Presents a course on 'Knife Skills 101' on September 22 in Texarkana.

Explore the fundamentals of knife skills with Chef Tyler Standridge in this hands-on course. Learn how to select the right knife for the job, knife safety, knife care, and several different knife cuts to use in your culinary adventures.
This is a great event that you can attend. It will take place on September 22nd at the upstairs kitchen in the Truman Arnold Center at Texarkana College from 6-8 pm. Texarkana College is located at 2500 North Robison Road in Texarkana Texas.

In the video, the chef talks about how knife skills are important to what you do daily in the kitchen. From a basic understanding of the grip on the knife to cutting board basics, you will learn everything you need to be comfortable in using your knives to help in your recipes.
