Texarkana Man Arrested on Deadly Conduct Charge
Texarkana Texas Police have arrested a male suspect on a deadly conduct charge.
Authorities say they arrested 46 year old Kenneth Lee Neal Tuesday afternoon.
A third party told police that Neal pointed a pistol at a woman as he drove past her residence over the weekend. Police interviewed the victim in that alleged incident and also learned that Neal had reportedly fired a weapon into the air while on his property in the 300 block of Waterman Street on several recent occasions.
After interviewing witnesses who allegedly confirmed the victim’s allegations, the Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Team then obtained an arrest warrant for Neal.
Neal was arrested without incidence late Tuesday afternoon after officers located him hiding in the attic of his home. He is currently being held in the Bi-State Jail. Bond has not yet been set.
