Texarkana McDonald’s to Raise Funds to Help Support Family of Jaqualyn Paxton

The McDonald’s restaurant located at at 711 East 7th Street in Texarkana will donate 20 percent of proceeds this Wednesday, April 24 to help support the family of employee Jaqualyn Paxton.

Paxton, was loved by her customers and known for always having a big smile, was shot and killed early on the morning of April 17, while off duty. In addition to funds donated by the East 7th Street restaurant where she worked, other McDonald’s locations around Texarkana will have donation boxes available for individuals wishing to donate directly to help support Paxton’s family and cover funeral expenses.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family during this difficult time.  Please drop by the McDonald's West 7th location all day on Wednesday, April, 24, so that 20 percent of the sales that day will go towards helping Jaqualyn's family with funeral costs.
