Texarkana authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating 20-year-old Omarion Owens, who is wanted in connection with several serious felonies in both Texas and Arkansas. A $1,500 cash reward is being offered by Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers for information that leads to his arrest.

Texarkana Texas Police say that Owens is being accused of involvement in a drive-by shooting in March that left a woman and her 10-year-old daughter wounded while they slept. Authorities say more than 60 rounds were fired into the home in under 11 seconds. The mother was injured, and the child was critically hurt. After weeks in the hospital, the young girl is now home and continuing her recovery.

TTPD says Owens is currently wanted for two counts of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury and two counts of aggravated robbery. In one of the robberies, he is alleged to have fired a gun. He also faces felony warrants in Arkansas for theft of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Investigators believe these crimes occurred within a short time after Owens returned to the Texarkana area.
