Texarkana Police Arrest Three Men in Connection to Recent Commercial Burglaries
Texarkana Arkansas and Texarkana Texas Police have made several arrests in connection to some recent burglaries at local businesses on the Arkansas side of Texarkana.
The Texarkana Arkansas Criminal Investigation Division was able to make these arrests because of felony warrants that were issued for these suspects.
According to a press release from The TAPD, the warrants led to the arrest of these three men:
Keith Lanard Lee is fifty-one-year-old from Texarkana, Texas. He was arrested for the burglary that took place at Wash-A-Lot, located at 3316 North State Line Avenue in Texarkana Arkansas. Lee was arrested by the Texarkana Texas Police Department. They were able to arrest him on an active felony warrant. He is now in custody at the Bi-State Justice Center until his extradition to Arkansas.
Billy Ray Chancey is a homeless man forty-one years of age. He was arrested for a burglary that took place on Friday, September 16 at the Walmart Garden Center located on Arkansas Boulevard after the department had closed. Chancey was arrested and has now been booked into the Miller County Jail.
Robert Thomas Morrow, a thirty-one-year-old who is also homeless, was arrested for the burglary at the Premier High School on the Arkansas campus located in the 3200 block of North State Line Avenue. This burglary took place in the early morning hours on Tuesday, September 6. Morrow was arrested and booked and now is in the Miller County Jail.
According to a press release from the Texarkana Arkansas Police, there are more warrants and arrests coming from the Criminal Investigation Division for individuals that are also involved in these crimes.
