The incident happened at the EZ Mart convenience store located at 3401 E. 9th Street, Texarkana, Arkansas.

Investigators say they gathered evidence from the scene and prepared a probable cause affidavit, which was reviewed by the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and later presented to a judge. The judge issued a felony warrant for Whitmore on a charge of Second-Degree Battery.

Evidence Tampering Charge Filed

Authorities also say another person was arrested in connection with the case.

Police say Zoe Jackson removed the knife from the crime scene after the stabbing. She appeared in court for her first appearance and was released on a $50,000 bond on a felony charge of Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Police Seeking Public’s Help

Whitmore remains wanted on the active warrant, and investigators are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
